Our Commitment
At JAC, we are deeply committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment where every individual’s unique background, identities, and perspectives, while also ensuring that every child, regardless of background or circumstance, has equal access to the behavioral health care they need. We believe that inclusion, diversity, and equity are fundamental to providing the highest quality of care, and we strive to create a supportive environment where all individuals feel welcomed, respected, and supported.
We are dedicated to creating a space where all team members, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or socioeconomic background, feel valued and empowered. We actively support the well-being of our team by providing resources, education, and a culture that prioritizes inclusivity, mental health, and physical safety.
Fulfilling Work
We are looking for motivated individuals who share our commitment to making a difference in the lives of children with exceptional abilities. If you are a student in the fields of psychology, child development, counseling, or teaching and you are looking for unique opportunities to gain hands-on experience working with children and families in the field of behavioral health, JAC may be an excellent workplace for you. Our team members enjoy interacting with children, display patience, have high-energy and a positive attitude, are fun and creative, and love to play.
Training And Mentorship
Joining the JAC team is less like a job and more like a learning experience that will have a positive effect on you for the rest of your life. You will learn new ways to teach children and adolescents new skills as well as effective ways to manage behaviors. We pride ourselves on providing each staff member with quality clinical supervision and ongoing training in evidence-based practices.
JAC has earned the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence designation by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE), a national industry quality assurance organization that takes into account clinical quality, staff qualifications and satisfaction, and client satisfaction. Our Behavior Technicians work together with Clinical Assistants and Clinical Supervisors to teach children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) new adaptive skills (e.g., language, functional communication, functional play, pro-social behaviors, self-help, etc.). No prior experience is necessary. Specific training in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) will be provided to all successful candidates. All of our Behavior Technicians are required to earn and maintain their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Credential for which JAC will provide the needed training to obtain.
Generous Benefits
In addition to our emphasis on providing professional development, we also offer our employees a wide variety of benefits including health, vision and dental insurance, life insurance, employee assistance programs, paid time off, bonus paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and an active employee wellness program.
