Why join our JumpStart team?

We believe that by taking care of our employees, our employees will take care of our clients. We pride ourselves on continuous training and mentorship, providing quality benefit packages, recognizing the need for employee wellness, as well as creating opportunities for our employees to use their unique talents. We are proud that our efforts awarded us spots on The Albuquerque Journal Top Workplaces lists in 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023 as well as The Denver Post Top Workplaces list in 2021 and 2022.

Fulfilling Work

We are looking for motivated individuals who share our commitment to making a difference in the lives of children with exceptional abilities. If you are a student in the fields of psychology, child development, counseling, or teaching and you are looking for unique opportunities to gain hands-on experience working with children and families in the field of behavioral health, JAC may be an excellent workplace for you. Our team members enjoy interacting with children, display patience, have high-energy and a positive attitude, are fun and creative, and love to play.

Training And Mentorship

Joining the JAC team is less like a job and more like a learning experience that will have a positive affect on you for the rest of your life. You will learn new ways to teach children and adolescents new skills as well as effective ways to manage behaviors. We pride our self on providing each staff member with quality clinical supervision and ongoing training in evidence-based practices.

JAC has earned the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence designation by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE), a national industry quality assurance organization that takes into account clinical quality, staff qualifications and satisfaction, and client satisfaction. Our Behavior Technicians work together with Clinical Assistants and Clinical Supervisors to teach children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) new adaptive skills (e.g., language, functional communication, functional play, pro-social behaviors, self-help, etc.). No prior experience is necessary. Specific training in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) will be provided to all successful candidates. All of our Behavior Technicians are required to earn and maintain their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Credential for which JAC will provide the needed training to obtain.

Generous Benefits

In addition to our emphasis on providing professional development, we also offer our employees a wide variety of benefits including health, vision and dental insurance, life insurance, employee assistance programs, paid time off, bonus paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and an active employee wellness program.

Employee Wellness

You spend most of your time at work, so why not work for an organization that takes employee well being seriously? We recognize that for our employees to perform at their highest level, they need balance and the tools to maintain their overall health and wellness. JumpStart actively engages our employees through our Employee Engagement Committees where our team addresses employee support systems, creates opportunities to improve personal wellness, and facilitates community outreach opportunities.

Community Outreach

We are committed to supporting the autism community and those that serve the community. We not only support autism awareness efforts, but also volunteerism for organizations that our team is passionate about. We are locally owned, and we are committed to seeing our community grow and prosper.
